There is no Cancel button in Ichigo Manga Translator, and that is why this takes people twenty minutes. The control you want is called Manage account, it only appears when you are on a paid tier, and where it sends you depends on which of three companies actually took your money. Ichigo Manga Translator does not process payments itself.
It hands you to whichever provider you originally signed up through, and it still shows the subscription as active until that provider agrees. Working out which one took your money is the whole job.
Your receipts come from Stripe and the charge appears on your card as a Stripe payment. This is the common case for anyone who subscribed from a desktop browser. Ichigo generates a one-time Stripe billing portal link for your account when you ask to manage it — the link is created on demand, so there is no fixed URL you can bookmark or find through search. This is the most common Ichigo Manga Translator route by a wide margin.
Your receipt comes from Apple, not from Ichigo. An Apple subscription cannot be cancelled from the website at all, no matter what you do there — deleting your Ichigo account will not stop it either. Go to ichigo.moe and sign in with the email you subscribed with. If you originally used ichigoreader.com, that is the same app — the site sets its canonical address to ichigo.moe and the older domain serves the same thing, so your login and your subscription carry across untouched. Open the account menu in the top navigation. The Ichigo Manga Translator account menu is where every path begins.
This is where most people stall. The entry is labelled Manage account, and it is the manage-subscription control despite the wording. It is also conditional: the app only renders it when your tier is something other than free. If you cannot see it, you are either signed into the wrong account or your subscription has already lapsed — in both cases there is nothing left to cancel. Ichigo Manga Translator never labels it Cancel.
If you paid on the website, Manage account requests a fresh Stripe billing portal session and forwards you to it. Inside the portal, open the subscription and choose to cancel it. Stripe emails a confirmation; treat that email, not the app screen, as your proof. Access normally continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
If you paid in the app, Manage account forwards you to Apple's billing support page, because that is genuinely as far as Ichigo can take you. The actual cancellation happens on your device: open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select the Ichigo subscription and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also reach the same list from the App Store by tapping your profile picture.
Ichigo sells two levels. The lower one is 5.99 US dollars a month or 59.99 a year; the higher one is 19.99 a month or 199.99 a year. If you are on the higher tier the account menu offers you a downgrade, which keeps you subscribed at the lower price. That is a different action from cancelling, and it is easy to click by accident when you are moving quickly. Ichigo Manga Translator will keep billing the lower tier indefinitely.
This is the single most expensive misunderstanding on this page. Removing your Ichigo account closes the account, not the subscription Apple is billing you for. Apple keeps charging until you cancel it in iOS Settings, and Ichigo's own in-app warning says exactly this. Cancel first, then delete, if deleting is what you want. Removing your Ichigo Manga Translator account does not touch an Apple subscription.
Cancelling Ichigo Manga Translator is not the same as being cut off on the spot.
With Stripe and Gumroad you keep the tier you paid for until the period you already paid for runs out.
The app treats free as a tier rather than an absence of one, so the account survives the cancellation. What changes is what the tier unlocks: the model picker marks the models your tier is not entitled to, and the upload allowance goes back to the free limit with its own reset timer.
